Welcome to The Vale of Roding

The Vale of Roding Benefice came into being on the 1st March 2019, being formed of the three churches of the Parish of Chigwell & Chigwell Row, and the two parishes of Stapleford Abbotts, and Lambourne with Abridge. We seek to offer the good news of Jesus Christ and the life he brings, connecting people to God whatever their faith or background.

We are a diverse community across the five churches with different styles of Sunday worship ranging from the more formal Anglican to informal ‘charismatic’ worship.

Apart from Sundays we also enjoy the occasional café church, zoom services and many other midweek meetings which are open to all. We have also run groups for enquirers to the Christian faith such as Alpha, Start, Moving On, Bible Course etc. There are too many regular and occasional social events to mention, but if you click on either church photograph, it will take you to the individual church website for more information on the building, history and most importantly what we do now.
